BDP is different. Our unique position as a collective with experts spanning the spectrum of the built environment gives us a special status and capability in the design world. We respond to the demands of this dynamic and ever-changing planet with cross discipline design thinking which spans all of life’s activities. Our union with Nippon Koei creates a global architecture, engineering and design practice which fuses placemaking and user-centred design with large scale infrastructure skills.

BDP & NIPPON KOEI
In March 2016, BDP combined forces with Japan’s leading engineering practice Nippon Koei to form an integrated design group of genuine international reach.
Sharing a philosophy which places an emphasis on design integration and community impact, the new group offers a unique combination of deep technical skills in engineering, architecture and the full range of design disciplines.
While both companies retain their existing operations and their own brand identity, their complementary geographical footprints and technical skills mean that they are able to work collaboratively to win and deliver integrated design solutions across international markets.
