Euroforest Ireland Limited is the largest independent provider of timber harvesting and marketing services in Ireland. Our managers have in excess of 25 years of progressive development and historically more than 50 years’ experience in maximising returns for our clients throughout Ireland. Activities countrywide are supported by the head office in Arklow, Co. Wicklow and a network of regional offices.
The Company offers a unique level of service, capability and professionalism to a broad spectrum of forest owners. Clients range from large private estates, investment trusts and professional forestry managers, to producer groups, community associations and farmers.
Euroforest is owned and operated by a combination of private equity investors and is independent from any direct links with timber processors. This unique position frees the Company to achieve the best possible value for growers, whilst enabling it to take substantial consistent volumes of raw material to the market.
The Company now harvests in excess of 200,000 cubic metres of timber every year which is approximately 30% of the entire annual harvest from the private sector plantations. The Euroforest service includes forest management, certification, harvesting, haulage, timber marketing and roadside purchases for all timber, from thinning through to clear felling at the end of the rotation. The Company’s transport fleet carries material to a well-established customer base countrywide.
Euroforest supplies the entire Irish market, from small-scale millers through to the largest processing facilities, biomass and pulp using operations.
Our innovative approach delivers an impartial, independent service to the grower in search of a smooth product flow from a bespoke harvesting system, dynamic marketing with timely transport that maximises the financial yield from the forest.
