Opportunity:

Responsibility:
As the new Geo-Environmental Engineer, your responsibilities will be split between practical site-based work and office/client related work. When on site, your duties will include the design and oversight of various geo-environmental/geotechnical ground investigation projects. These will be carried out for a mix of external clients and internal company teams/divisions. You will also be responsible for logging soil and rock readings, keeping them in line with current practice standards, as well as maintaining proper scheduling for labs. Outside of site-based work, you will also undertake preparation of Health & Safety plans, Risk Assessment Method Statements and remediation strategies and a client facing role, liaising with new and existing clients, fostering business growth for the division and the company.
Requirements:
To be a successful applicant, you’ll need to have experience applying yourself within a geo-environmental/geotechnical setting. This means you’ll need to have carried out ground and site investigations effectively, produced relevant technical reports to a high standard and acted as a first point of contact for clients, providing technical expertise as and when you are required. Experience producing preliminary evaluations for sites in order to highlight the potential risks and issues for both workers and the environment and how much of an impact they could have is also key to succeeding in this role.
