Land-based Inshore Fisheries and Conservation Officer

Due to the retirement of a long term employee, we now have a vacancy for a Land-based Inshore Fisheries and Conservation Officer

£21074 - £23111 for average 37 hours per week

Working under the direction of the Senior IFCO you will form an essential part of the Authority’s land-based team, actively supporting the enforcement of fisheries regulations across the Authority’s district. Attaining warranted status, day to day responsibilities will involve inspecting vessels in ports
and at sea, premises and business involved in the fishing industry and supporting some of the Authority’s field survey work both onshore and offshore throughout the district.

Hours: annual contractual hours averaged at 37 per week.
