We are set to open the UK's largest multi polymer plastic recycling plant in Avonmouth near Bristol and we are looking for an experienced Quality Manager to join our newly formed team.

Our new world class facility is expected to process 81,000 tonnes of PET, HDPE and PP plastic bottles, pots, tubs and trays in its first year of operation, rising to 89,000 tonnes in year three. This will produce 60,000 tonnes of recycled plastic in year one, rising to 63,000 tonnes in year three.

The Quality Manager will report to the Unit Manager responsible for the Avonmouth Polymers Site but will also be an integral part of the wider team managed by the Lead Quality Manager.

Leading the Quality Team at Avonmouth, the Quality Manager will be responsible for site control systems in relation to product input and output quality, as well as compliance as per the company management system. Assisting in the development of SharePoint and ensuring this is set up and implemented correctly is key to this role as is the development of other IT systems required to enhance the quality and service of the function.

The Quality Manager will also be responsible for ensuring that the testing of all products entering and leaving the site is completed and that all material quality is maintained to legal and contractual specification.

Our ideal Quality Manager:

Ensuring compliance to all legislative, statutory and company requirements is key to this role, so a good working knowledge of relevant health and safety legislation is an essential skill for the successful candidate to possess.

Our ideal Quality Manager will have:

 *A high level qualification (e.g. HND) or above preferably related to an environmental or scientific subject. *Good communication skills can be able to lead and influence others *Knowledge of Quality Systems and management systems *Experience in the use and development of SharePoint. *Previously implemented systems and processes. *Demonstrative ability to work in a dynamic environment
