Are you an experienced spatial analyst, looking for a role that will develop your skills and make a difference to the world around you? As a member of our Conservation Intelligence unit, you will help generate cutting edge science and intelligence to support the delivery of our UK strategy. You will provide scientific advice in the use of spatial data and methods as well as produce geographic analysis and remote sensing assessments for stakeholders. You will also assist in the wider roll-out of our web assets, such as WWF-SIGHT, SIGHT Analytics and AI functionality. You will support the use of data and intelligence insights across the organisation and our wider global network too. In addition, you will help maintain our WWF-SIGHT tool as well as contribute to the generation and inclusion of new functionalities, datasets and frameworks of analysis. 

 You must have a Master level degree in computer science or an environment related field, and extensive experience as a GIS spatial analyst. You will possess robust programming skills and expertise in web scraping, data management and high-volume GIS assessments using python. It is essential that you have experience of ESRI suit, programing languages (Python and R), remote sensing software (SNAP, Google Earth Engine), and business analytics software (Tableau) too.  

 Along with your technical skills you will also have experience of training and capacity building and the ability to work cross culturally. You will also possess excellent communication and research skills. Some exposure machine learning would be an advantage.
